So Mickey Mouse supports animal cruelty? This is very sad and makes me ashamed to be Canadian. The rodeo demonstrates the OPPOSITE way to handle and care for animals, so it's no wonder a growing number of places are banning many practices that ultimately ban the rodeo. I don't support our federal tax money being used to prop up the rodeo (the Federal Government is listed as a "partner" as are the Province of Alberta and the municipal government of Calgary). If the media would do their job and give Canadians the facts and documentation, that rodeo animals are denied the same protection from cruelty that even animals in slaughter plants enjoy, people would be outraged.
