A male motorcyclist has been killed after a crash involving a car in Aberdeen.
The accident happened in Provost Rust Drive in the north west of the city at about 21:20 on Tuesday.
A female pillion passenger suffered serious injuries and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The woman driver of the car, a white Volkswagen Polo, suffered minor injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash.
